Chairman Dear Students, Parents, and Visitors,
Greetings and a warm welcome to the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department of VPM’s College of Engineering. Today the field of Electronics is at the forefront of technological innovation. It is playing a vital role in the development of all most every industrial application from telecommunication, computing, healthcare, consumer electronics to chip manufacturing.
The "Semiconductor Mission" launched by the government in 2021 to facilitate the establishment of semiconductor fabrication plants in India and the advancements in space electronics in last one decade has underlined the initiative and vision of "Atmanirbhar Bharat" (self-reliant India). It has added a new dimension to Electronics Engineering. To meet the growing demand for highly skilled professionals in these fields, we offer the undergraduate program of B.E (EXTC) designed by Mumbai University.
EXTC department has a strong Industry- Institute interaction in terms of internships, industry visits, project design and consultancy. An excellent academic ambiance and enthusiastic faculty members motivate the students for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the overall personality development of students. Department is instrumental in conducting the Achary Chanakya Kaushalya Vikas Centre activity for the promotion of skill development activity of Government of India.
